South Carolina's Voter ID Law

Advocates for voting rights express their concern with South Carolina's voter ID law by stating that the overall confusion of the state's voting requirements may push away potential voters without a valid photo identification for this upcoming Democratic primary. It is heavily emphasized in the media that voters are strictly expected to show an ID before voting even when this is not necessarily correct. People are very much allowed to vote regardless of having an ID simply by signing an affidavit explaining the reason why they do not have one. There is also concern regarding poll workers that might not exercise this law correctly.

This article is worthy of reading because it is incredibly important for people to vote. Having this kind of confusion barrier, especially in this voting season, is absolutely unfair. More people should know more about this!
